Darcy {Senior Session}

I cannot believe that Darcy is a senior!! I can remember her being in my mom's kindergarden Sunday school class, so seeing her so grown-up (and gorgeous!) just blows my mind.

When chatting with Darcy before her session, she claimed to be a little awkward and warned me that she might need help with posing and styling. However, a few shots in I realized this was far from the truth! I love when people change up their facial expressions, positioning and pose from shot to shot, and this girl was giving it to me on her own! When I complimented her, she claimed it was from watching America's Next Top Model- I swear she must have been taking detailed mental notes. I love the variety I had to choose from for her edits!

When it came to location, she needed no help there either. Darcy had secretly been plotting to use a piece of property belonging to a family friend for years (and hoping her brother & sister didn't snag it first!). Sometimes being the baby in the family means you have to do a little scheming- I can tell you that from first hand experience! Next we headed to the Carnegie Library where her siblings had also taken photos. It seemed only right that we keep the tradition alive, and those ended up being some of my favorites from her session.

I am so glad she gave me the honor of taking her photos- we had such a good time! Enjoy :)

{Oh, and P.S. That prom dress?? FAB}
